1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ('Terms') set out the basis on which LOYAL-AP SERVICES LTD ('we', 'our', 'us') provides services to you ('the client', 'the customer').
By booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
These Terms apply to all services provided by LOYAL-AP SERVICES LTD unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. Services Provided
We provide the following services:
- Domestic and commercial removals.
- Delivery and courier services.
- Home and business clearance services.
- General handyman and property maintenance services.
Services will be carried out with reasonable skill, care, and diligence.
3. Quotes and Bookings
Quotes are provided free of charge and are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.
A booking is only confirmed once a deposit (if required) has been paid and confirmation has been sent.
Any changes to the scope of work may result in revised costs.
4. Pricing and Payment
Prices are agreed at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.
Payment terms:
- For one-off jobs: payment is due on completion, unless agreed otherwise.
- For larger jobs (e.g., removals/clearances): a deposit may be required prior to commencement, with the balance payable upon completion.
Payments may be made by cash, bank transfer, or other agreed methods.
We reserve the right to withhold or remove goods until payment is received in full.
5. Customer Responsibilities
You must provide accurate details regarding the work to be carried out.
You are responsible for ensuring safe and reasonable access to the property/premises.
For removals/clearances:
- Items must be securely packed (unless packing services are included).
- Hazardous or illegal items must not be included.
For handyman services:
- You must disclose any known risks (e.g., faulty wiring, structural concerns).
6. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the agreed time may be subject to a cancellation fee (up to 50% of the quoted cost).
We will make reasonable efforts to reschedule where possible.
We reserve the right to cancel or postpone work due to safety concerns, adverse weather, or circumstances beyond our control.
7. Liability
We hold public liability insurance to cover accidental damage and injury.
We will not be liable for:
- Pre-existing damage to goods or property.
- Indirect, consequential, or financial losses.
- Delays caused by traffic, weather, or events outside our control.
For removals/deliveries, our liability for loss or damage to goods is limited to £50 per item unless additional insurance is agreed in writing.
8. Clearance & Disposal
All clearance and waste disposal services comply with environmental regulations.
We will not remove hazardous, illegal, or restricted items (e.g., asbestos, chemicals, gas cylinders).
You are responsible for confirming ownership and the right to dispose of items.
9. Handyman Services
We do not undertake specialised work (e.g., gas fitting, major electrical installations) unless appropriately certified.
Any materials purchased on your behalf will be charged at cost plus an agreed handling fee.
10. Complaints
Any complaints must be made in writing within 7 days of the work being carried out.
We will aim to resolve complaints promptly and fairly.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
